About Heirloom Gardens

  Heirloom Gardens is officially opening it's doors in Spring 2017. We are a start up grower/nursery but we will grow and what we lack in size we make up for in quality and uniqueness. Everything we do here is guided by the premise of enjoying and preserving the natural resources around us. We use non GMO seeds, natural fertilizers such as seaweed and kelp. We sell and promote the use of native species shrubs, vines and perennials. We encourage people to use their landscape in a nature friendly way to feed the wildlife and save endangered species of bees and the monarch butterfly.

We want to ensure that the wonderful native plants and heirlooms are not lost to time and will always remain an available and beautiful part of our gardens and landscape forever.

Being a startup means that there are going to be many new and exciting plants for sale as time goes on so make sure you sign up for our mailing list to get the latest information on available plants and our plant sales.

 One of the driving forces behind Heirloom Gardens is our comittment to providing alternatives to invasive plants with native species, and encourage the use of natural ways to control insects and disease along with the proper and safe way of using chemical pesticides and herbicides when it is necessary to use such means....and yes... sometimes it IS necessary.
